Staff at Ramsey filling station insist helmet removed
A visiting biker says he's been forced to remove his helmet to pay for fuel during TT, for the first time in more than 30 years.
Peter Hay from Liverpool has spoken out after staff at a Ramsey filling station insisted he show his face at the pay desk.
Mr Hay, on his 33rd visit to the Island, says he's never before seen that rule applied during TT fortnight - and he's appalled.
He says removing a helmet holds up service at the pumps and creates queues of bikers at the till - when all they want to do is pay and get back on the road.
