Allegations of bullying dismissed
The Island’s Lord Bishop has dismissed an online petition calling for his resignation as “pathetic”.
Just under 200 people had signed the document before it closed yesterday, calling for Robert Paterson to step down amid allegations of bullying.
But he says taking to the internet to garner support before making public criticisms is not the way to resolve differences in the Church.
And Bishop Robert, who is recovering after suffering a heart attack earlier this week, gave his response to Manx Radio:
