Book lovers on the Island will be counting down the days to the inaugural Manx Literary Festival which begins later this month.
The event will showcase some of the island's top writing talent and bring internationally renowned authors to the Island. It's largely sponsored by the Arts Council and runs for three days from 27th September.
The festival will include events for all ages, from adult poetry readings to a Gruffalo Hunt for kids.
Island based author Chris Ewan will feature in various events at the festival and says LiftFest is designed to leave a legacy and spur on a future generation of readers.
