Hooper pays tribute to vaccine teams as thousands receive third dose
The health minister admits the number of people coming forward for a Covid-19 booster vaccine in the run up to Christmas was 'a little bit of a shock'.
More than 7,000 locals attended drop in sessions at the vaccination hub on Chester Street for a third dose of the vaccine.
It was initially hoped around 1,700 jabs per day could be administered, but on several days last week more than 2,000 received the vaccine.
