Chief minister says he's having regular meetings with UK politicians
The chief minister says government has little influence over the Brexit transition period.
It comes as a new bill attempting to override the Brexit withdrawal agreement being debated by members of the UK parliament passed the first stage.

Meanwhile, the environment, food and agriculture minister is focused on ensuring Manx farmers and fishermen don't lose out as a result of Brexit.
Local meat and fish is sold in European markets, but future access is under question, with talks stalled between the UK and the EU.
