Questions encouraged from public
Government is attempting to make 'the contents of the 2018 budget more accessible' by hosting a public meeting in Peel next Wednesday (March 7).
From 7.30pm at the Centenary Centre, Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan and members of his department will outline plans for the economy, welfare and capital spending.
The audience will be able to quiz members on issues or send in a question.
The event is free to attend but seats will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
Mr Cannan says the Treasury is using different channels to engage with the public and listen to their views.
