Law student reaction to minister's proposals
The 2019 Budget contained a "first glimmer" that the Manx goverment is taking on board student wishes and desires.
So says final year law student Kathryn Sharman.
She was reflecting on Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan's proposal to commit £1.5 million pounds to the DESC to help support students in higher education in the UK.
Speaking on Sunday's Perspective programme on Manx Radio, Kathryn said the Budget made a good start in making the Island a better place for students to come home to, but she did have some reservations:
