Lessons in expenditure, budgeting, tax and pensions
The Education Minister believes the private sector could be utilised to teach Manx school pupils more 'real life' skills.
Graham Cregeen was speaking at the launch of Money Skills for Schools week - a financial learning initiative sponsored by Old Mutual Wealth.
Children across the Island's high schools will spend the coming days being taught about budgeting, expenditure, tax and pensions, as they prepare to enter higher education or the workplace.
Mr Cregeen says there's scope for extra hands-on learning in areas outside the traditional curriculum:
