Juan Kelly says current process is flawed
A local businessman is supporting calls for more forms of direct democracy in the Manx political process.
Juan Kelly spoke at an event in Douglas where he backed Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne's calls for the introduction of e-petitions and the right to recall parliament.
He himself doesn't bother voting as he feels the current process is flawed.
Mr Kelly said if he had a direct say in the decision-making process it would convince him to exercise his democratic right:
