Open invite to those alone this Christmas
Anyone who faces the grim prospect of spending Christmas Day all by themselves now have an invitation that could bring a smile to their faces.
Onchan Parish Hall will open its doors for afternoon tea on December 25 with a warm welcome to all.
It's the idea of Island businesswoman Sue Cook and is already generating a positive response, including from Onchan MHK Rob Callister.
After discussing things with her family, Sue posted the idea on social media.
