Alfred Cannan has been questioned about the conflict in the Middle East
The chief minister says the Isle of Man Government is 'well capable' of providing support if energy bills skyrocket in reaction to the war in Iran.

The Economic Strategy Board, which has been assessing the latest information concerning energy supply, the cost of fuel, and wider economic implications, is due to meet again today (18 March).
Particular attention is being paid to the price of heating oil.
Mr Cannan says they first need to better understand the situation before any decisions are made in terms of support:
"The OFT will play a very pivotal role in all of this."
Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Tim Glover, who put forward one of the questions concerning the Middle East conflict, says he's reassured by the chief minister's response.
