Gas repairs could see route shut until June
A main traffic route in the capital will be closed for up to three months, to allow for gas main repairs.
Manx Gas is carrying out works on Bucks Road in Douglas, beginning on Monday, 6 March.
The scheme will incorporate three phases, and take up both sides of the road.
First engineers will be working from the Rosemount junction to Demesne Road.
Works will then move to the junction with Mona Street; and finally, to Circular Road.
During the works, parking will be restricted and bus routes will be altered.
Manx Gas says it's aiming to 'minimise disruption', and have the works fully completed in time for TT week.
