Confirmation comes after Douglas Councillor joins Ramsey Commissioners
The Cabinet Office says there are 'no restrictions' on people wanting to be a member of multiple local authorities.
It comes after Douglas Councillor Arwid Hall joined Ramsey Commissioners in an uncontested by-election at the end of May.
He will now be representing residents of the town's South Ward whilst also working for ratepayers in Douglas' Central Ward.
The department says candidates cannot stand in multiple wards of the same local authority.
