An MHK says she's concerned about the impact potential strike action from the Island's teachers could have on the Manx economy.
Amidst the ongoing pay dispute between unions and the education department, Daphne Caine asked the Chief Minister about the wider implications of industrial action in yesterday's sitting of the House of Keys.
Howard Quayle did announce an independent review into issues around the ongoing dispute but it will not examine pay.
Mrs Caine did acknowledge unions are looking to avoid disrupting children's education wherever possible, but she's worried about the consequences if the situation escalates:
