Local businesswoman wants extreme views to be avoided
We must avoid taking extreme views on either side of the argument on the use of cannabis.
That's the view of the proprietor of a local business which sells legal, over-the-counter cannabis derivatives for medicinal use.
An online consultation on cannabis for medicinal use and the cultivation of hemp on the Island was launched last Wednesday - it has already garnered more 2,000 responses, and still has five weeks still to run.
Speaking on yesterday's "Perspective" programme, Valerie Miller says the debate must be properly balanced: (play audio)
The consultation can be found online at https://www.gov.im/cannabis, and runs until 20 March.
