Former health minister opens up about sacking publicly for the first time
The Island's former health minister has opened up publicly about his dismissal for the first time, since he was sacked on 10 November.
Rob Callister says he was asked to sign a 'scripted resignation letter' but after conferring with friends and family, he decided to force the chief minister to remove him from the Council of Ministers.
The Onchan MHK continues to say he still doesn't understand why he was removed from the role as he'd done 'nothing wrong', and insists he didn't have enough time to understand the role.

The chief minister has escalated his dismissal to the Tynwald Standards Committee for investigation - something Mr Callister says he's looking forward to seeing the outcome of.
