Support group appeals to rental sector
The founder of Animals in Distress Isle of Man has made an appeal to landlords to reconsider their pet policy.
Anita Williams, who also re homes animals, told Manx Radio since January more than three people have asked her for help after they could not find a rental that would accommodate their pet.
She has since taken to Facebook with her appeal and says that more landlords have changed their minds and reached out to her:
Chris Thomas, the MHK and Chair of the Housing and Communities Board, says the body needs to deal with these concerns.
