Expert on cannabis doesn't think Manx public should face prosecution
A cannabis campaigner doesn't believe Manx residents should face prosecution for using the substance, either for medicinal purposes or recreationally.
Jeff Ditchfield spoke to an audience of around 50 in Laxey on the benefits of cannabis last night.
Feedback is currently being sought by the Manx government on the use of medicinal cannabis and the cultivation of hemp.
Speaking on Mandate this morning, Mr Ditchfield said he also wanted the Manx public to be given the opportunity to decide whether the drug should be legalised for recreational use:
