Grow Lab Organics says people are 'right behind' plans for Ronaldsway project
Development of a medicinal cannabis cultivation facility on the Isle of Man has been a ‘long time in the making’.
Grow Lab Organics has now been given permission build its headquarters and production site near Ronaldsway.
It’s believed more than 60 jobs will be created at the facility which is the first of its kind on the Island.
Co-Founder Charlie Price told Manx Radio he can understand why people have had concerns through the process:
Grow Lab Organics is the first company to be offered a conditional medicinal licence for export on the Island since regulations were introduced in 2021.
It's hoped the new facility will be up and running within a year.
