Visiting restricted as patient cases rise
There would be capacity to dedicate a third ward at Noble's hospital for patients with Covid-19 if needed, according to Manx Care's CEO.
Yesterday the organisation restricted visiting at all Island hospitals in response to an increase in cases of the virus across healthcare settings.
Since the weekend the number of cases at Noble's has doubled from 10 to 20 - though the majority of Covid-positive patients are in for other illnesses.
