Purchase deal called off
The Castle Mona Hotel is to be auctioned after a proposed deal to buy the building on Central Promenade in Douglas fell through.
The Sefton Group has taken the decision to appoint Lambert Smith Hampton to auction the facility on Monday 14th May.
Chief Executive Officer of The Sefton Group Brett Martin says the Castle Mona structure is sound and demolition is not an option.
But he says any purchaser needs to be aware the asking price is only a fraction of the money needed to give the building a new start:-
