Keen to work with local school to earn gold 'Eco Church' award
Cathedral Isle of Man hopes local schoolchildren will help it become more green.
The Peel facility has received a silver 'Eco Church' award for its work to be more environmentally aware, which has included switching to low energy lightbulbs and creating wildlife-friendly gardens.
The honours are handed out by Christian charity A Rocha, and assess five different areas, including engagement with the local community.
The cathedral's eco rep Rosemary Clarke believes younger members of the Peel community can help it achieve a gold award:
