Emergency services responded to the scene at 9am today
The cause of a small fire in Onchan is under investigation by emergency services.
Douglas fire crews were called to the Shoprite store there just after 9 o'clock this morning.
Residents in the area described seeing smoke outside the store in online posts.
Officers have confirmed a number of pallets and packaging were on fire at the scene.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus with two hose reels quickly extinguished the fire, which did not spread to the store.
Manx Radio has contacted the Fire and Rescue Service for comment.
