Chamber calls for urgent action to tackle 'difficult' economic position

Group holds talks with politicians and election candidates ahead of election

The Chamber of Commerce is calling on the next administration to tackle the "difficult place" the Manx economy is in.

The group, which represents a number of sectors from the Island's business community, has been holding talks with politicians and election candidates this week.

The organisation warns that without action to restore growth, the Island faces long term economic decline.

James Kingston was the guest speaker at an event held by the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce this week.

He says the Island could take advantage of some incredible opportunities if it had a 'cultural shift'.
