Tynwald due to discuss proposal this month
The Chamber of Commerce is urging Tynwald to support a proposal to scrap the Island's work permits system.
A motion calling for their temporary suspension is expected to be tabled at this month's sitting of the court by the enterprise minister.

The move is aimed at easing the Island's chronic labour shortage across a range of sectors to help grow the working population.
