Four of the seven planets will be visible to the naked eye
Isle of Man residents are being reminded to look to the skies tonight (28 February) in the hope of spotting a planetary alignment.
Four planets - Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter - and the new moon should line up and be visible to the naked eye.
Astronomer Howard Parkin, from AstroManx, is advising people to look to the western horizon for Venus and Mercury; the other two should be seen from a south or southwestern direction.
He adds its best to try and spot them just after sunset:
