Weekend clinics 'prompt and positive' response
A local charity has praised efforts to reduce backlog in the Isle of Man’s Breast Service.
Over the weekend the Department of Health and Social Care operated additional clinics – it follows a significant increase in the number of people requiring symptomatic appointments.
A combination of issues, including the Covid-19 pandemic, has meant the two week target, between initial referral and being seen, has slipped.
