Visitors told to check before coming for TT
Visitors to the Island are being urged to make sure they have the right travel insurance in place for TT.
Manx Care says while most people will be covered for healthcare costs by our reciprocal agreement with the UK, those from further afield are unlikely to be covered.
In those cases, they'll only be entitled to urgent and emergency services free of charges - anything else must be paid for.
A spokesperson for the provider says it can be very costly if your insurance doesn't cover the care you need.
