Move as claim current set-up stifles growth
The Chief Minister has reinforced his view that the Island's work permit system must change.
It echoes the stance put forward in the framework programme for government, delivered in Tynwald yesterday, as well as comments from the Chamber of Commerce that the current setup 'stifles' economic growth.
Howard Quayle says he expects further plans from the Department of Economic Development in the near future - and set out why he believes change is necessary:

Person suffers 'significant injuries' in 'serious assault' near Peel
Business case for horse trams to be put before Tynwald in July
Plans to turn 'underused space' in central Douglas into wellness retreat
Employment grievance 'upheld' against board of Peel Commissioners
