Minister doing utmost to improve health service, says CM
The Chief Minister believes the Health Minister is doing her 'utmost' to improve the service provided on the Island.
Howard Quayle was speaking on Mandate this morning (Wed) following the departure of a second political member from the department.
Douglas East MHK Clare Bettison tendered her resignation at the end of last week but has not elaborated on her decision. Onchan MHK Rob Callister resigned in March, citing personal reasons.
Minister Kate Beecroft is currently unwell and off work.
Mr Quayle said Health and Social Care was the biggest spending department in government and an incredibly challenging role.
