Winter Garden welcomes wildlife
Children and parents are enjoying a seasonal education in St John's this week.
As part of the 2018 Year of Our Island campaign, a tent on the old Farmers Arms site has transformed the quiet grassy area into a living, breathing classroom.
The 'Winter Garden' has brought together wildlife experts to deliver classes on bugs, birds and other natural assets.
The programme of events, which continues this weekend, includes a workshop on hedgehogs, including advice on how to protect and conserve the species.
These children at yesterday's event told us what they'd learned.
Tickets are still available for the Winter Garden weekend, which finishes tomorrow (Sat).
