Lights to be switched on as dark falls
Ramsey's early Christmas light switch-on helps support local business, according to its town centre manager.
Organised by Ramsey Chamber of Commerce and the commissioners, residents and visitors will see a start to celebrations outside the old courthouse at 2pm this afternoon.
The festive lights are expected to be lit at 4.30pm.
Stephen Bevan says it ties in with Children in Need events across the British Isles, but caters to a very local need:
