There’s a chance to see the Island’s latest would-be blockbuster this weekend with special matinees in Douglas.
The Villa Marina’s Broadway Cinema will screen Robot Overlords today (Saturday, April 25th) and tomorrow.
The film stars Ben Kingsley and Gillian Anderson and scenes were filmed here on the Island in July last year, featuring more than 60 local extras.
Familiar backdrops for the film include Ramsey, Jurby, Douglas, Peel, Castle Rushen, King William’s College and Douglas Railway Station.
