The candidate for a Douglas by-election is LibVan's Claire Wells
The LibVan party has unveiled its candidate for a by-election in Douglas.
Claire Wells will be the party’s candidate for Murrays Ward after a vacant spot came up when Bill Malarkey won a seat in the House of Keys.
Claire is married with two young children and works in IT, as well as being an aromatherapist and herbal practitioner.
Party leader Kate Beeroft described Mrs Wells as very intelligent and gifted with the right principles.
