Follows petition calling for end of sewage in bay
Protestors are due to gather in Peel this morning (5 September) to urge government to ‘respect’ Manx waters.
It follows a petition - started by local business Roots by the Sea - which calls for an end to raw sewage, and toxic chemicals, being pumped into the bay.
Almost 2,000 people have signed the online document which is intended to 'start the conversation' and hold politicians to account.
The protest will take place outside the cafe on the promenade between 11am and 1pm.
