Orsted representative insists proposals are in line with government policy
The clerk of Garff Commissioners says plans to bring power generated by a proposed offshore windfarm into the Manx grid are 'very vague'.
Martin Royle called for more assurances after Manx Utilities confirmed it's yet to agree a way to bring power from Mooir Vannin onshore if the project is given the go-ahead.
A series of hearings are taking place this week examining various aspects of Orsted's plans to build 87 turbines off the Island's east coast.
Mr Royle and Amy Stirling, representing Orsted, spoke at yesterday's hearing:
Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital closure 'inconvenient' but 'significant issues' need to be fixed
Four local authorities looking for by-election candidates
Reinstatement of home births 'remains at top of agenda' for Manx Care
Weekend sailings at risk
Plans submitted for 85 new homes on former Buchan School site
