Crews called out on New Year's Day afternoon
Coastguard and lifeboat crews in the south of the Island were called out following reports of two kayakers in distress.
Port Erin lifeboat launched shortly after 3.15pm yesterday to assist the kayakers near the Calf of Man.
The RNLI team stood by while Port Erin Coastguard recovered the kayaks, with no injuries reported.
The lifeboat was back at the station by 3.45pm.
