Century-old Hall Caine works donated to collection
Works by one of the Island's most famous authors have been donated for generations to enjoy.
A number of novels have been donated to the Hall Caine Collection - including first editions and numerous century-old books.
The collection - at his eponymous library at the University College Isle of Man -builds up a detailed picture of his life, views and political career and has been donated by Hall Caine's great granddaughter Gloria Rukeyser.
Family friend of Hall Caine, Ulla Corkill, says the author is known across the world:
