Instrument Landing System is currently being upgraded
A combination of factors led to several flights into Ronaldsway being cancelled yesterday.
That's according to Airport Director Gary Cobb.
The Instrument Landing System (ILS), on Runway 26, is currently being upgraded - meaning planes cannot land when there are visibility issues.
It was meant to be updated in November but bad weather meant the work was postponed.
Mr Cobb says the wind yesterday didn't help:
