Carol Quine resigns from local authority with immediate effect
A Castletown Commissioner has resigned from the board and stepped down as chairman.
The local authority says Carol Quine has resigned with immediate effect.
It comes following a recent vote of no confidence in Miss Quine after a Castletown Commissioners' employee was bitten by her dog.
The remaining members will meet on 1 November to elect a new chairman, while plans to elect a new commissioner will be announced in due course.
