Southern authority continues 'warm hub' initiative
Children in the south of the Island are being offered a warm space after school this winter - despite government not providing funding for 'warm hubs'.
Arbory and Rushen Commissioners is offering food and craft activities and is building on similar initiatives run in 2023.
It's one of a number of organisations continuing support to help people affected by cost-of-living pressures.
'Fun and Food' takes place at Arbory Parish Hall between 3.30pm and 5pm on Tuesdays.
Commissioner Jane Glover says the authority is happy to help those who need them:
