Southern MHK Tim Glover was speaking in Tynwald
Real commitment is needed from Treasury and Education, Sport and Culture to progress the Castle Rushen High School project.
That's according to Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Tim Glover who began the Budget debate in Tynwald this morning.
Last year the six southern members of Tynwald indicated they would not support the Budget if there was not provision for Castle Rushen High School or the Southern Community Swimming Pool.
Minister Alex Allinson has presented the 2023 Budget which sees the project remain in the 'design and feasibility' stage.
But Mr Glover says there has been developments recently - including a productive meeting with DESC:
