MHK's concerns over economic impact
The impact roadworks can have on local businesses should be more strongly considered, an MHK insists.
North Douglas member David Ashford raised the issue in the House of Keys this week.
His focus has centred mainly on schemes involving the Department of Infrastructure and Manx Utilities.
He says failure to conduct economic impact assessments can seriously affect businesses.
