Worker died following lapse in workplace safety
A company will be sentenced this morning, in relation to a fatal accident.
UK firm Tuke and Bell Ltd recently admitted a lapse in workplace safety, following the death of mechanical engineer Gareth Sowden.
He was working on a sewage treatment project in Kirk Michael in May 2013.
Mr Sowden was fatally injured after he was trapped under a shipping container.
The sentencing is due to take place at Douglas courthouse this morning.
