NMC imposes rules after allegations
Conditions have been put in place for a senior nurse at Abbotswood Nursing Home after allegations were made against her.
A virtual hearing was held in July by the Nursing and Midwifery Council investigating committee regarding the care home's director and chief nurse, Zandra Joanne Lewis.
The committee has imposed a conditions of practice order against Miss Lewis for 18 months, which, among other requirements, prevents her from being in sole charge of a shift.
NMC Case Examiners are still deciding whether there is a case to answer in response to the allegations made against Miss Lewis.
