Consultation underway on Civil Contigencies Bill
A constitutional lawyer says the Island should draw on its own experiences during the period of emergency powers, when looking to update the law.
A consultation is out, asking views on the proposed Civil Contingencies Bill.
Professor Peter Edge warns that the Manx position is unique and should be treated as such.
