More details are emerging about how the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure will cope when its bus drivers hold a half-day strike this week.
The steam railway will start services at 12:50pm on Thursday, while the Manx Electric Railway will begin replacement services from 1.10pm.
The Department says it’ll confirm details next week for buses that will run during the strike period.
DCCL Chief Executive Nick Black says school services will be a priority, with morning school buses running as normal.
He says he’ll work closely with the Department of Education and Children to make sure students sitting exams next week can get to school on time.
