Caine meets with Ørsted as IoM joins Paris Agreement
Talks have been held over the Isle of Man having its own wind farm within the next decade.
Yesterday, at the COP26 conference in Glasgow, the Island signed up to the Paris Agreement following discussions with the UK.
Daphne Caine MHK, Chair of the Manx Government's Climate Change Transformation Board, is representing the Island there.
''[It] would categorically enable us to generate some of our electricity through renewable systems."
She's encouraged by the progress she feels her and her team have made in meetings so far:
