One tenth of restoration project completed so far
The cost of the steel needed to restore the pier in Ramsey has risen more than 85 per cent in three years.
Project Manger of the Queen's Pier Restoration Trust Dennis Curphey says in 2021 they paid £30,000 for steel per bay, now it stands at £56,000.
Six bays have been completed so far - there are 60 in total.
