Blues' stadium move raises queries
Speculation over Everton FC's plans for a new stadium has raised questions about the future of the Steam Packet's landing stage.
Today's Liverpool Echo reports that the club is investigating two sites for a future development - one of which is Liverpool Waters on the banks of the Mersey.
It lies next to Waterloo Docks, which has been identified by the Manx government as a potential new location for a Liverpool landing stage.
The Steam Packet's agreement to use the current Pier Head facility expires at the end of this year, and is said to be 'nearing the end of its operational life'.
It's not known how interest from Everton will affect the proposed move.
